Paul Reuvers is a self-employed electronics engineer, who has specialised in the development of embedded software, based in Eindhoven (Netherlands). He is also a collector of historical cipher machines and co-founder of Crypto Museum.

Marc and Paul got involved in the #cryptoleaks research (and Operation Rubicon) in September 2019, and were able to help and advise the researchers on technical and historical matters. In this operation, it was revealed that the Swiss firm Crypto AG was in reality a front company of American and German intelligence agencies. They were also involved in earlier revelations about Crypto AG, that were published by the BBC in 2015.
